13 Feb 2014
WorldSkills UK Competitions help to deliver economic growth by driving up levels of expertise in further education, skills and Apprenticeships. They reward real talent among the nation’s apprentices, employees and further education students.
WorldSkills UK Competitions
A skills competition is a series of tests designed by industry experts that focus on the highest UK and International standards. Individuals and in some cases, teams, are challenged to compete against the best in their region and ultimately the UK. The competitors are marked against a rigorous framework that meet our quality assurance standards. Covering over 60 different skills at different levels, success in most WorldSkills UK competitions can lead to representing the UK at biennial WorldSkills International competition which pits the best young talent from 65 countries around the globe against one another to find the world champion.
Competitions open for registration on 10 February 2014 and close on 21 March 2014.
