Lloyd’s is one of the most famous institutions in the world, yet few understand how it works and even fewer have ever witnessed its operations first-hand.

THB Clowes, a long standing MIA member and  Lloyd’s broker that specialises in risk management for professional motorsports around the World, is offering a rare opportunity to visit the famous Lloyd’s building in the heart of the City of London.

A guided tour will allow you privileged access to this unique establishment together with a fascinating insight into a history spanning more than 300 years.

A vast majority of global motorsports business is insured in the London marketplace.

Lloyd’s has come a long way since its beginnings at Edward Lloyd’s Coffee House in 1688.  The MIA and THB Clowes are delighted to be able to host an educational tour about this unique marketplace

After the tour Karen Ellis, MD of THB Clowes, and her team of motorsports insurance specialists, will host a drinks reception at THB’s offices (opposite Lloyd’s).
