Come and join us for an hour or so – a mid-week networking break from the office!  Get together with other MIA members, their business guests and MIA staff to share the latest business news, make new contacts and business leads. As a bonus, tour the unique facilities of University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing.

This £60 million collaboration between the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) and Boeing is unique – and features the carbon neutral “Factory of the Future”, a recent expansion to the AMRC supported by Rolls-Royce.  This Factory of the Future will support collaborations between 40 industrial partners and sister research centres at the AMRC.  See how partnerships between industry and academia can forge ground breaking engineering solutions for the future.

Attendees will enjoy a short presentation on these centres and a tour the Factory of the Future facility.
