Performance technology is largely unregulated in the US off-road and dirt sport racing market, which is centred in Southern California and Nevada. Enjoying explosive growth, this market segment continues to develop at a fast pace. This is the first time a European-based supplier visit has ever been arranged to this sector – so be the FIRST to meet the decision makers.

Amongst the many innovative items required are suspension, engine components, brakes, transmissions, electronics, gauges, seats, harnesses, fuel cells, springs, helmets, rod ends, bearing and fittings – all must handle the punishing demands of off-road sport.

Robbie Gordon reckons to spend $1,000 per wheel per inch of suspension travel, and the minimum needed is 29 inches - others say the spending on engineering solutions is ‘limitless’.

The MIA has created this exclusive, first-time visit programme to meet the buyers and learn more about this significant new market. We are still receiving invitations to meet and network with many from this business sector – ALL are keen to see the best that Europe has to offer them.

  • We start, in Las Vegas, visiting the huge Motorsport Hall at the world famous SEMA trade show, for the first day. We will meet the leading series organisers - SCORE and Best in the Desert, and visit Kroyer Race Engines, a leading supplier to this market.
  • Next day, we take a VIP visit, on qualifying day, to meet the teams, racing trucks and buggies in the seven classes of the Lucas Oil Off-road race (LOORS) at Las Vegas Speedway. This is your chance to experience, at first-hand, a top class off-road race and examine the engineering requirements of these unique vehicles
  • We then fly to Southern California, for three days, to meet some eight to ten leading specialist off-road companies who will host shop tours and team visits. We are in the process of confirming visits to companies which may include*; Racer X Motorsports, Mirage Racing Products, Mastercraft Safety, Rod Millen , Jimco Racing, Inc., Stewart's Race Works, Douglas Motorsports and Fortin Racing.
  • Within our all-inclusive package* the MIA will arrange; all tickets, network opportunities, show and race access plus all flights and hotels in Las Vegas and California.
  • Alternative packages are available and you are free to travel with any airline you choose, making your own flight plans...just meet us at the HQ hotel. Additionally if you prefer to book your own hotel you are welcome to book your room separately with the hotel direct
  • The MIA flights arragned by the MIA are London Gatwick - Las Vegas with Virgin Atlantic (economy class), and an internal flight between Las Vegas and San Diego
  • The MIA HQ hotels are the Monte Carlo, Las Vegas and Best Western Santee Lodge, near San Diego.

As we only have TEN places available and reserved rates for your travel and hotels, early booking is essential.
