FORD CELEBRATES PRODUCTION OF 40 MILLION ENGINES AT DAGENHAM
Dunton Technical Centre is the headquarters of Ford’s Research & Development, annually investing over £400 million. R&D at Dunton leads on engine transmission and complete commercial vehicle development for all future European products. The site is also home to Ford Motorsport and Team RS, part of their Special Vehicle section.
Most recently, Ford introduced its high tech, ultra-efficient, turbocharged, direct injection 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine across the Ford Focus range. This unique, industry-first EcoBoost engine delivers performance to rival a traditional 1.6-litre engine with significantly improved fuel efficiency and ultra-low CO2 emissions.
MIA members are invited to showcase their engineering capability to all 3,000 FORD ENGINEERS on site. Discuss your engineering solutions in R&D prototypes, lightweight materials and wider solutions, including chassis, brakes, suspension and low-carbon developments.

- Showcase Area (approx. space 3m x 2m) – includes admission for TWO delegates, with lunch - £380 + VAT
