Learn how certification can benefit your business

Thursday 24 March 2016

Ricardo, Leamington Spa

Dispel the myths around accreditation - unlock your potential!

Many companies are uncertain of whether to seek third-party certification (e.g. ISO 9001 or TS 16949) to support their business growth plans, into parallel sectors and beyond. There are many reasons for this, primarily:

  • Cost: “On our turnover we couldn’t afford it!”

  • Misconception: “Certifications are only for large organisations!”

  • Resource: “We don’t have the staff to support it!”

  • Resistance: “We just don’t need piles of written procedures as our systems are simple, logical - and they work!”

More importantly, smaller companies do not always see the threats or opportunities posed by certification. Increasingly motorsport customers are demanding third-party ISO 9001 or TS 16949 certification as a ‘passport to doing business’. They say that their focus must remain on the technical aspects of outsourced work, and that they do not have the time or resources necessary to audit their supply chain. They reason that this is best left to Certification Bodies (e.g. BSI, SGS, LRQA, etc.) who specialise in this.

For companies either operating, or looking to operate, in the wider motorsport/high performance industry (e.g. defence, aerospace and marine sectors), this half-day MIA briefing session will provide answers to all of these questions. It will also explain the process and costs, as well as providing case study examples of the benefits of certification.

The session, will be hosted by Ricardo and presented by TEC Transnational - who have 25 years of broad, high-level experience in guiding companies through to successful certification.
