Apprenticeship Levy Seminar

Wednesday 19 October 2016
12:00 - 14:00
Warwick Hall, Stoneleigh Park, Warwick
(As part of the MIA Motorsport and Automotive Jobs Fair)

Are you ready for the apprenticeship levy?

Do you employ over 80 people? Is your annual payroll over £3 million? If yes, did you know you will soon be paying a 0.5% levy.

Fundamental changes are being made to the way apprenticeships are funded and delivered in the coming year.

The government is introducing the apprenticeship levy to help fund three million new apprenticeships by 2020.

The levy will apply to all industries in the UK, replacing ALL apprenticeship funding currently provided by the government, for companies of all sizes.

The levy will come into effect from April 2017 and many employers will have to start to pay an apprenticeship levy each month - at a rate of 0.5 per cent of an employer’s wage bill and will be paid through Pay As You Earn (PAYE).

To help clarify the changes and help you understand how the levy will affect your business, the MIA is organising a 2 hours semiar as part of its Motorsport and Automotive Jobs Fair to present and discuss this matter.

Why should you attend?

  • Understand what the levy is and what it means for you and your business
  • Support on how to maximise the benefits of the levy you pay
  • Chance to prepare and plan your workforce training

  • Free to attend – pre-registration is essential
