MIA Members' visit to MOD Abbey Wood
Tuesday 30th November 2010
Ministry of Defence (MOD), Abbey Wood, Bristol
Demonstrate your capabilities to resolve “real” MOD problems
This is a first-time MIA members-only visit to Abbey Wood, home of Defence Equipment and Support procurement operation for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the largest MOD site in the UK, housing 7000 employees. It is a rare opportunity to meet key engineering “end users” from land, air and sea within the MOD.
MIA members have been invited by MOD Abbey Wood to meet senior engineers, from these project teams, to discuss and help solve “real and current” MOD problems.
Motorsport engineers, and business development managers, are invited to demonstrate and display their solution capabilities to this select audience, who require innovative solutions urgently.
The MOD has created a list of their latest “project problems” to be discussed on the day and these are available to download below.
From the Ministry of Defence, both Peter Luff, MP – Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Equipment, Support and Technology) and Lord Astor of Hever, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State have confirmed their attendance and many other senior staff from MOD, CDE and DE&S have been invited.
This truly unusual opportunity for your company to exhibit products within Abbey Wood’s procurement organisation, and to a targeted audience of engineers, is a privileged invitation.
Space is limited and can only be provided on strictly a first-come, first-served basis.
