Motorsport to Defence Workshop

More than a dozen representatives from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Supacat Ltd will be on-hand in the International Business Lounge throughout Friday 9th January to network with motorsport businesses who are interested in expanding into the defence sector. At 2:30pm in Concourse Suite 23, Lieutenant-Colonel Nick Wills from the MoD's Specialist and Utility Vehicle (SUV) Integrated Project Team will present a workshop outlining the current range of MoD vehicles and explain how to secure supply contracts for urgent ongoing projects.
Sean Limbrick, Chief Engineer of the Supercat all-terrain vehicle, will also give a presentation describing how Supacat Ltd's relationship with the MoD operates, and shall outline the opportunities which exist to supply Supacat's expanding portfolio of military vehicles.
This workshop is supported by Alcon, an MIA member company which currently supplies the Defence Industry and wishes to bring more of its expertise to this important market.
