2010 MIA Business Lounge at Autosport International
Location: NEC, Birmingham
MIA Business Lounge (Stand 8020 Hall 8) at Autosport International 2010
The annual Autosport International Show at the NEC, Birmingham is the largest exhibition for motorsport and high performance companies in Europe. Over the two trade days (Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January 2010) more than 28,000 trade visitors will transact over £400 million of business. The show continues, with a public bias, for two further days (Saturday and Sunday) until January 17th, attracting another 66,000 visitors. For more information, please visit www.autosport-international.com.
The centrally located MIA Business Lounge, at the heart of the show, has become the meeting place for the Motorsport Business Community. It enables MIA members, their guests and international buyers to meet, network and conduct important business meetings in a professional but relaxed atmosphere. The MIA Business Lounge attracts over 2,000 visitors on both trade days, many of whom are international - as MIA members export over 60% of their sales.
The organisers, Haymarket Exhibitions Ltd, have chosen to co-locate their show’s International Business Centre immediately alongside the MIA Members’ Lounge to maximise networking possibilities. Both these areas are designed to operate as one large meeting and hospitality space. There will be five confidential meeting rooms, a central kitchen, a substantial open 'piazza' with tables and chairs, a central reception desk and a cloakroom.
The MIA is delighted that Autodesk will partner them on the Business Lounge in 2010 and demonstrate their revolutionary 3D software to members and guests. Autodesk is a world leader in 2D and 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. It has the broadest product portfolio to empower customers to digitally design, visualize, and simulate their ideas. This helps increase efficiency, productivity, and innovation for competitive advantage. For more information, please visit Autodesk’s website by clicking here.
Due to the popularity of the MIA Business Lounge, we would ask respectfully that members use it for limited periods only throughout the show and not as a permanent base. This will allow all members to enjoy full use of the facility.
