A business event not to be missed - BOOK NOW - we will sell out!
The Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and PRI invite you to join in an exclusive visit to the 'World Centre of Racing' at Daytona International Speedway, just two days before the PRI Show opens.
Meet new business contacts in Grand-AM and NASCAR and be amongst the first to view the newly re-paved super-fast Daytona race track. Take a close look and touch the smooth, new surface of the 2.5-mile superspeedway with the famous 31° high banking, to be used, for the first time, in January’s Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Enjoy a walk through the 'DAYTONA 500 Experience' and during the Garage Tour hear about the exciting technical changes coming to the Daytona Prototypes in 2011 and 2012.
A delicious lunch will be served in the exquisite Bill France Suite with panoramic views over the track. Joie Chitwood III, President of the Daytona International Speedway, will welcome his guests and outline his plans for the track. A presentation on the background of the Daytona International Speedway, the Rolex 24 and the Daytona 500 will follow, with the opportunity to ask questions.
Enjoy a trip to the Control Tower and the famous Spotter’s Perch, high on the rooftop with Mark Raffauf, R24 and Grand-AM Race Director.
Visit the birthplace of NASCAR, the rooftop Ebony Bar at the Streamline Hotel at Daytona Beach, where the organisation was founded in 1947. Finish your visit with a stroll onto Daytona Beach itself, at the North Turn Pub, where ‘Big Bill’ France started it all, racing between the dunes and the sea.
