MIA successfully secures £80K TAP Grants from Department for International Trade

05 Feb 2018

Many motorsport companies are only too aware that exhibiting overseas requires budget and time, dedicated to their success. The value of overseas trade shows cannot be denied: contacts are established with buyers, agents, distributors and customers, raising a company's profile in overseas markets.

The Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) is proud to be an accredited Trade Challenge Partner (TCP) for the Department for International Trade (DIT), administering Trade Assistance Programme (TAP) grant support to UK motorsport businesses looking to grow their export sales.

During 2017 alone, motorsport businesses taking part in the MIA TAP supported shows, collectively indicated potential business wins of over £4m.

The MIA is delighted to announce that for 2018 nearly 50 TAP grants are available for UK companies, ranging from £1,500 for European Shows to £2,000 for US Shows, to help towards the costs of exhibiting.
