WMG is a department of the University of Warwick and a founding member of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult. We work with industrial partners in applied research and development projects, focusing on the global challenge of low carbon mobility.

Our expertise covers: energy storage, advanced propulsion systems, advanced materials and autonomous and connected systems. These have been highlighted by the Automotive Council as key areas for the UK automotive industry to develop in order to be globally competitive. We have a strong track record in working with the motorsport industry, using our state-of-the-art facilities for testing and characterisation of electric and hybrid vehicles.
