Motorsport Educators' Forum

Wednesday 28 October 2015
Silverstone UTC, Northamptonshire

Maximising Student Potential - Join the Discussion

In 1998, the first motorsport related course was launched with a view to providing an education tailored to the unusual and elite motorsport industry. In the years since, many more courses have been developed and young people continue to engage and aspire to a career in motorsport, from engineering to logistics.

Motorsport as an industry continues to grow, with innovation in new green technologies becoming a global focal point and many in the motorsport supply chain diversifying into new areas including automotive and defence, where their R&D capabilities are unrivalled. With this growth comes an increased need for suitably qualified and relevant employees.

Taking place at the Silverstone UTC facility, this forum will encourage educators to share their experiences…

•    HEAR case studies from students who have successfully forged a motorsport career following various pathways
•    DISCUSS best practice with fellow educators and how to continue to be relevant as the world of motorsport evolves
•    NETWORK with industry professionals that recruit newly qualified students and hear their success stories

This is your chance to help shape the future of motorsport courses and provide students with the education needed to keep them relevant and employable in this ever-changing sector.
