The MIA, in partnership with the Department for Business (BIS), are jointly developing a Business Growth Plan for the sector, as part of the UK’s broader industrial strategy. The new Secretary of State for Business, Rt Hon Sajid Javid announced his enthusiastic support for our industry last week, saying it is “a cornerstone of the UK economy” and a “shining light of UK technical and innovation excellence across the world".
