We welcome new member NASCAR into the MIA’s international business community

11 Oct 2018

We are delighted to announce that NASCAR, motorsport's preeminent stock-car racing organisation has joined the MIA.

Chad Seigler, Vice-President International Business Development NASCAR (pictured here with Chris Aylett at the Black Book Forum in London) commented:

“NASCAR has always been about providing an entertaining product that fans find engaging and innovative. A key element in the future of NASCAR is the growth of the sport globally.

With our series currently racing in the United States, Europe, Mexico and Canada, we believe stock car racing has huge growth opportunities. Joining the MIA has already been beneficial to NASCAR and has allowed us to expand our network and reach as we continue to grow globally.”

Chris Aylett, CEO of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) in his reply to Chris stated:

“I am delighted to welcome NASCAR into the MIA’s international business community - they are truly a unique, world-class organisation with whom we have worked for many years.

It’s exciting for us to play a part in helping them pro-actively grow their global footprint over the next few years. Having witnessed the increase in popularity of their Euro series, I have no doubt they will succeed in their targeted markets. I encourage all MIA members to make contact and see how you can benefit from NASCAR, your fellow member’s significant plans. The MIA is growing fast and is proud to have so many non-UK based members from around the world which reflects the global nature of this motorsport community."
